Community Project Month in May

The following groups are participating in our 2023 Community Project Month.

  • Survivor’s Hope Crisis Inc. – “Speaking out against Sexual Violence Project”. Goal: $3,000
  • Pinawa Art 211 – “Connecting Art & Community for Pinawa Birthday”. Goal $1,800
  • Courts of Pinawa Club – “Accessible Sidewalks for the Courts”. Goal: $11,000
  • WSXC Ski Club – “New Renovator/Track Setter”. Goal: $15,000
  • Pinawa Lions Club – “Pinawa 60th Birthday Weekend Expenses (tent/facilities)”. Goal $10,000
  • Orville Acres Arena – “Ice Plant Compressor Overhaul”. Goal: $9,000
  • Pinawa Public Library – “Story Walk Phase 2”. Goal: $5,000
  • Trans Canada Trail – “Ironwood Park Tree Refencing.” Goal: $2,050;“Ironwood Trail Rerouting” Goal: $3,150
  • Children’s Place Day-Care – “Backyard Improvements – shade trees, sunshades, storage shed and eaves”. Goal: $11,000
  • Pinawa Cancer Care – “Blood Pressure Machine”. Goal: $4,500
  • Pinawa Holiday Cheer Committee – “Holiday Wreaths & Lights”. Goal: $4,000
  • Pinawa Health Auxiliary – “Courtyard Garden” Goal $600; “ER Stretcher with built in scale “. Goal $7,500
  • Two Rivers Seniors – “Services for Seniors programs”. Goal: $6,000
  • F. W. Gilbert PAC – “Outdoor Classroom & Tire Climbers”. Goal $7,000/$5,500

Please consider making a donation to one or more of these important projects.

The Pinawa Foundation will stretch your donations by 40% (to a maximum of $2,000 per project). One cheque can contribute to all or any of the participating groups. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $25 and over. We accept e transfer for the Pinawa Foundation to fndlyc@mymts.net; please provide mail and email addresses for tax receipt purposes.
