The Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) Group from the high school announced their 2023 grants at the Foundation’s Annual General Meeting on June 20. The YIP group awarded grants to 6 projects including:
FW Gilbert Robotics Club – $500 for radio/blue tooth-controlled robot building and coding kits for grade 1-6
Shirley’s Kitchen – $250 for kitchen stock pot, hand blender, and small utensils.
Survivor’s Hope – $500 for signage, banner, and a canopy tent.
Pinawa Hospital – $500 for replacement wheelchairs
Pinawa Arena Board – $250 for Zamboni maintenance
Daycare – $500 for a baby area change table.
