The Pinawa Foundation is pleased to announce that they have received the first donation to the “Drive to 2020” capital renewal campaign for the Pinawa Club.
Leslie Strandlund, Blair Skinner and Mats Strandlund presented their donation to Chris Saunders of the Foundation this past week. They also requested that their donation be used for the resurfacing of the tennis courts and installing a concrete floor in the curling club.
“Facilities like the curling club and the tennis club are very important to our family,” said Blair. “We wanted to help make sure that resources are available to maintain and improve these facilities without putting added pressure to the budget of the Pinawa Club”.
“It was important that the capital campaign got started right away and we are happy to be part of it” added Leslie. “We are also pleased that the Pinawa Foundation is a partner because the tax receipt is certainly appreciated”.
