Pinawa Foundation Attending Regional Conference

Chris Saunders, Carol Findlay and Alf Wikjord are attending the Endow Manitoba Community Foundation Conference from October 27 to 29th in Winnipeg. The conference is an opportunity for Foundations across Manitoba to get together to discuss their plans going forward. Carol and Chris are also hosting a session at the conference entitled “Stronger Together: Using Partnerships and Collaborations to Enhance Your Work”. The session includes a discussion of how the Pinawa Foundation got started, how we worked with as many groups as possible to have an impact in our community in the early years, and how Foundations have so much to offer other groups. To support this session, we wrote a paper highlighting the early years of the Pinawa Foundation and our plans going forward.
