May was another successful Community Project Month for the Foundation. Twelve groups participated this year, raising $25,314 in directed donations for their projects. The Foundation added another $5,062 to this total. This is a 25% increase in donations over 2017. In addition we had 3 new groups participate in the program; the Orville Acres Arena Board, Pinawa Art 211 and Pinawa Cancer Care. The donations to each group were as follows:

It was heartwarming to have people make donations for projects that they felt were important. They wanted to contribute to help make them happen. It is community spirit at its finest.
