For the second year, the Board of Directors of the Pinawa Foundation has chosen to present our annual report through this post, rather than our usual lunchtime gathering. We are sorry that we can not answer your questions in person or have you join us to present funds to the various groups that participated in community project month. The Youth in Philanthropy group also had funds to disperse at the AGM. All of these presentations will be done remotely and will be highlighted over the next few weeks on our facebook page.
The past year was very busy for the foundation. We had our tenth anniversary, we distributed covid support funds, and we tried to help wherever we could during a very difficult year. We expect 2021 to continue to be busy. Many local groups are struggling to maintain their programs. Please help if you can.
The attached presentation and annual report describe our activities and our plans. We have approved both the 2020 financial statement and the annual resolutions. I also would like to announce that Chuck Vandergraaf has retired from the board after 10 years. We will miss his advice and participation in our many activities. Thank-you Chuck.
We will be looking to add to the board in the fall. If you are interested, please let a board member know.
Please review the attached information. If you have any questions or comments, please contact any of the board members. We hope to see everyone in person at our 2022 AGM. And remember to be safe.
