2016 Pinawa Foundation Annual General Meeting

The sixth AGM for the Pinawa Foundation was held June 7, 2016 in the LGD Council Chambers for our fiscal year ending December 2015.
The Board is pleased to report that the 2015 year was a successful one for the Foundation. Our endowment funds grew by $100,000 thanks to the generosity of Pinawa residents and our corporate sponsors. Our funds now total $391,000 as of January 1, 2016. We are also proud that we donated over $21,000 to local charities and groups in need in 2015.
The current Board was re-elected for another term at the AGM. Chris Saunders continues as the Chairman and volunteer Executive Director. Carol Findlay is the Foundation’s Treasurer. Other board members include Chuck Vandergraaf, Cindy Litke, Susan Musey, John Tait, Alf Wikjord and Connie Hamon. The board would like to thank all those who attended our AGM to hear about our first five years as a Foundation and our plans for the next five years.
