The Pinawa Foundation would like to welcome Liane Tirschman to the Board of Directors. Liane has lived in the region for the past 22 years, with her husband and two sons. Her community involvement has included the Nursery School committee for 4 years, the Pinawa Advisory Council for 11 years, and the Pinawa Arena Board Committee, along with Minor Hockey and High School Hockey manager for many years. Currently, Liane is a member of the Lion’s Club and the Arena Board. She has been employed at Milner Ridge Correctional Centre since 1996. She is currently the Program Department Manager.
“I am pleased to be a part of the Pinawa Foundation where the goal is to enhance the quality of life in Pinawa. I am eager to learn more about promoting ways to connect both fundraising and philanthropy with groups looking to enhance programming in the community,” said Liane.
