The Pinawa Foundation is collecting donations throughout May to support 16 worthwhile projects in Pinawa. Check out our list of projects to see if there is something you would like to support!
Children’s Place Day-Care – “New Dishwasher and Flooring”. Goal: $7,500
Survivor’s Hope – “Prevention Education Workshops”. Goal: $3,000
Pinawa Cancer Care – “New Stretcher”. Goal: $6,200
F. W. Gilbert Parent Advisory Council – “New Gym Mats”. Goal: $6,900
Pinawa Lions Club – “Pinawa Birthday Weekend Expenses”. Goal $7,500
Pinawa Public Library – “New Blinds and Office Upgrade”. Goal: $3,500
Whiteshell Cross Country Ski Club – “New All Terrain Vehicle”. Goal: $7,000
Courts of Pinawa Club – “Refurbish and Install Automated External Defibrillator”. Goal: $1,650
Pinawa Minor Baseball – “New Equipment”. Goal $5,000
Two Rivers Seniors – “Services for Seniors Programs”. Goal: $6,000
Pinawa Minor Hockey – “New Rink Divider”. Goal: $9,800
Pinawa Health Auxiliary – “Replacement Bed/Mattress Project Year 3” Goal: $16,000
Pinawa Holiday Cheer Committee – “New Outdoor Decorations”. Goal: $900
Orville Acres Arena – “Brine Line Straightening”. Goal: $20,000
LGD – Pinawa Swimming Pool – “Fund the Free Swim Program”. Goal: $10,600
Pinawa Art 211 – “Community Programming”. Goal $3,500
Detailed descriptions will be provided over the month on Facebook and Instagram. The Pinawa Foundation will stretch community donations by 50% (to a maximum of $3,000 per project). Gifts can be made:
➢ By cheque payable to Pinawa Foundation and mailed to Box 100, Pinawa, MB R0E 1L0 or placed in the drop box at the LGD Office between May 1st and 31st. One cheque can contribute to all or any of the projects.
➢ By E-transfer to pinawafoundation@gmail.com *Please note new address* Include your name and mailing address for your receipt to be sent, and a note detailing the project/s and corresponding donation amount.
