The Foundation would like to thank everyone that attended our Annual General Meeting on June 9. Along with presenting a summary of our 2024 activities, including financials, we presented over $142,000 in grants to over 20 groups in Pinawa. Many of these groups were part of our Community Project Month fundraisers. We also presented our annual Thomas Sill Grant to the Pinawa Fire Department ($22,903) and numerous annual grants associated with endowment funds held for groups in Pinawa. To end the evening, Pinawa’s Fire Chief, Mike Purtill, gave a presentation on their plans for the Thomas Sill Grant.
